“Album Covers Revisited” is how I would like to call this project. Like its title says, it involves music albums covers. I went scouting all over the city for people who look like, or give the same vibe as the artists or models on the covers. The result: a homemade-feel compilation of pictures of classics that had a huge impact on generations to come. Indeed, I tried to diversify the genres and dates of release as much as possible. The pictures range from albums released in the twenties to the latest ones of 2019. The way i chose my models was as random as it can be. I could be sitting, having a coffee, and then see a person who looks like an artist in one of the albums i had in mind walk by. I would directly go talk to them and suggest my idea and see if they would be interested. I particularly enjoyed the grainy look for older, aged albums. Especially, how the people fit in them. This makes them seem kind of unreachable, like if they are sensations from another era. However, they are your everyday people that you see walking on the street.
